DMCI Band Performs

On Sunday, November 23rd, the DMCI Concert Band had the exciting opportunity to perform as special guests of Winnipeg’s premiere wind orchestra, the Winnipeg Wind Ensemble. Made up of music educators and professional musicians, the ensemble is celebrating its historic 40th year. Our students are honoured to share the stage with such a distinguished group.

Our band students have been preparing for this concert since the beginning of the school year. During the performance, student representatives introduced each piece and shared thoughtful reflections on how being part of the band has helped them develop teamwork, communication skills, and meaningful friendships in a supportive and fun environment.

Congratulations to Ms. Powell and the entire group for their dedication and outstanding performance.

The DMCI bands return to the stage on December 11th at 7:00 p.m. here at the school, joined by our other bands, choirs, and dance groups. We hope to see you there!
