Ethics Bowl 2025 - Ethics Club

DMCI has many outstanding clubs, and one of them we would like to highlight is the Ethics Club! This November, these students participated in the Ethics Bowl held at the Human Rights Museum.

In the Ethics Club high school students (primarily Grades 11 and 12), are given cases to analyze and discuss, as well as real world ethical dilemmas. The club meets twice a week to explore new cases, present research, and have debates about the ethical considerations in the cases.

We had the opportunity to interview one of the students part of this club, Kayden S. By engaging in the Ethics Bowl she was able to “learn about how to discuss and approach ethical questions with a very open mind, as well as being able to respectfully and calmly discuss controversial topics.”

This school year, the Ethics Bowl Regional Competition will be held on February 21st and 22nd. These students will get the chance to learn together with students from other schools, widening their views and deepening their understanding on different topics. We wish them the best of luck!
