Exam Preparation Tips

Hello, DMCI Students!

As exam week approaches, the pressure may feel greater than ever. Here are five tips to help you relax and stay focused during this exam season:

  1. Stay organized: Make a study schedule! Break it down into bits of material to study, and remember to take breaks.

  1. Self-care: Don’t forget to eat, sleep, and drink lots of water. Your body and mind needs fuel to perform.

  1. Exercise: Physical activity relieves stress and improves your mood. Even a short walk or some light stretching can make a difference.

  1. Practice Mindfulness: Set aside some time each day to unwind and focus. One of the best ways to relax and release tension in your body is to practice meditation. Watch the following video for a 10 minute meditation session if you are unsure where to start:

  1. Tutoring: Feel free to come every Monday to Thursday during lunch in Rm. 23 to get help from Gr. 12 tutors in math, science, or english.

Lastly, remember: some stress is normal, but if you’re feeling overwhelmed, don't be afraid to reach out for support, whether from a friend, counsellor, or teacher.

Good luck on your exams and remember to look after yourself!
