Spirit of Generosity

The spirit of generosity is alive and well in the Montrose Community. The students, staff and community look for genuine opportunities to support others in their time of need. At this time of year, Montrose families work with the Christmas Cheer Board to supply hampers to local families.

Each classroom responded to the Santa for a Senior program with a kindness and understanding that demonstrated true compassion and concern for Winnipeg Seniors.

Teija's passion project raised awareness of the dwindling population of Kiwi birds halfway around the world.  She managed to capture the attention and energies of her of our grade three/four peers. The students have planned a bake sale for the day of the winter concert in support of conservation efforts designed to save the threatened species.
