This page is a listing of WSD’s Bid Opportunities for Supplies, Equipment, Services and Construction, with links to the associated Bid Documents.

Information to Bidders

Paper copy bid documents will continue to be made available and can be obtained by contacting the department representative identified in the bid opportunity posting.

Winnipeg School Division purchases goods and services and awards construction contracts in compliance with the Public Schools Act of Manitoba and division policies. Winnipeg School Division tendering policies are available from the WSD web site using the following link:

Only bid opportunities valued at $50,000 or greater are listed on this page. Bidders interested in bid opportunities for materials or services valued at less than $50,000 should contact WSD’s Purchasing Department by clicking here or wsdquotes@wsd1.org.

Addenda identifying changes to the bid documents may be issued by WSD at any time after the Bid Opportunity has been posted and before the bid closing date. If an Addendum has been issued for a Bid Opportunity, it will be identified under the Bid Opportunity Description and may be downloaded in the same manner as the Bid Documents. Bidders are responsible to regularly check WSD's Bid Opportunity web page for relevant addenda and must ensure that their bid reflects any changes described in the addenda.

COVID 19 PREVENTION STRATEGIES FOR CONTRACTORS ON WINNIPEG SCHOOL DIVISION PROPERTY

 Winnipeg School Division has procedures in place to help reduce our exposure to bacteria or viruses that can cause illness, such as Influenza and Corona Virus (COVID-19) to our staff and visitors and to slow the spread of COVID-19, including procedures to ensure surfaces are cleaned, sanitized and disinfected to reduce the potential of transmission.

Here is a list of items for you to follow when entering or working on WSD property.  All recommendations are based on the key messages from the Deputy Minister of Health and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in response to slowing the spread of COVID-19:

  1. Do not enterif you:
    • Are sick and exhibiting symptoms.
    • Have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or awaiting results.
    • Have travelled internationally or domestically in the past 14 days.
  2. Practice Physical Distancing – minimizing prolonged (10 minute threshold) close contact (within two Metres) with other individuals;
  3. Reduce large group/crowded activities to less than 50 people;
  4. Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds often and throughout the day;
  5. Follow good respiratory etiquette by covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or the crease of your elbow when you cough or sneeze.
  6. Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces and tools.
  7. Avoid physical contact, shaking of hands and avoid touching your face, eyes, nose and mouth.

Winnipeg School Division requires your full cooperation and expects that you have an established plan and procedure within your own organization. This situation is evolving, and we will adapt to government recommendations as they are released.
