The app is a guide only. A school office or the Research, Planning, and Enrolment Department can confirm whether a student is eligible to attend a particular school or program.

A catchment school is the designated school for the community where a student lives. Attending a catchment school allows students to learn close to home and walk or bike to school with other students from their neighbourhood. It also helps to establish a school as a pillar in the community.
Students are encouraged to attend their catchment school to help balance enrolment across Winnipeg School Division. Balanced enrolment helps schools plan programs, learning opportunities, staffing, and resources to meet students’ needs.
Divisional schools and programs offer specialized learning opportunities to students living within Winnipeg School Division. These include:
