Adaptive Skills Program

Strength-based approach to create meaningful opportunities to belong across all learning environments.

Opportunities for students in the Adaptive Skills Program (ASP) include Special Olympics events, music therapy, food experience, adapted gym and aquatics, sensory and fine motor groups, and direct access to a full range of clinicians.

Range of programming both in and out of the regular classrooms based on a students individual strengths. 

Support to participate in regular school events. Children who feel like they belong, feel accepted and practice acceptance, are children who know the value of inclusion, and the value of belonging. Belonging is a basic human right that is practiced at Prairie Rose School.   

Prairie Rose School believes that inclusion benefits all children, with and without exceptionalities. 
Inclusion is belonging.
