Ceinture Fléchée

December 8, 2021

During the week of the Festival du Voyageur a special project was planned by our own Physical Education Voyageur, Mme. Karpinsky.

Mme. Karpinsky wanted to celebrate the ÉSC Voyageur spirit in grand fashion. A plan to build a HUGE Ceinture Fléchée was created, and during Festival week, Mme. Karpinsky with many crews of hearty Voyageurs went to work at building this marvellous Ceinture Fléchée.

This beautiful Ceinture, made to fit giant Voyageurs, can be seen along the school property on Furby Street.
Many thanks to Mme. Karpinsky for this wonderful idea and dedication in completing this great piece of art. Great work to all the mighty Voyageurs who braved the Winnipeg cold to complete this Ceinture Fléchée.
Thanks to all the families who donated material to make this project possible. A special shout-out goes to Mme. Fatima Dias, who spent much time at preparing the material into strips. The work and effort is appreciated by all.
