Turtle Teaching

From the water and land came Grandmother Turtle to bring the teaching of Truth. Truth is represented by the turtle as she was here during the creation of Earth and carries the teachings of life on her back. 

Turtle teaches us patience.  The turtle lives life in a slow and meticulous manner because she understands the importance of both the journey and the destination no matter the length of time it may take. 

      Grandmother Turtle carries her home on her back.  She teaches us that all life is sacred. Truth means to live by the Sacred Teachings – Love, Respect, Courage, Honesty, Wisdom, Humility and Truth. Remember we are all a part of Mother Earth and the Circle of Life.  Truth is to live by what is right. Always speak the truth. Show honour and sincerity in all you say and do.  Be true to yourself and all other things.
