​Buffalo – Respect​

From the prairies came Grandfather Buffalo to bring the teaching of Respect. Buffalo teaches us:

Respect is giving attention to your parents and elders.  Respect is about sharing with your family, friends and others.  Respect is about taking care of Mother Earth.  Respect is about taking care of you. Respect is to honour all creation.  Respect all life on Earth.

The Buffalo, through giving its life and sharing every part of its being, showed the deep respect it had for the people.  Its gift provided shelter, clothing and utensils for daily living.​
