Mural captures spirit of Sir William Osler

SWO completes mural with Artist in the School, Annie Bergen. 

Annie worked with all the students to create a mural that captures the heart and spirit of SWO. 

At SWO we strongly believe in educating the whole child- academic, artistic, emotional and physical. To do this, we believe in the power of nature and being outdoors. 

Our school mascot, the otter, who is loving, caring, playful, creative, smart and loves the outdoors, captures perfectly the values of the school. The mural started with the otter in mind and incorporated Manitoba wild life, flora and fauna along with all the activities that children here do throughout the seasons. 

Every child had a hand in painting some part of the mural. We are extremely happy to have worked with Annie to bring our vision to life.
