ESWO welcomes the Earth Rangers!

Earth Rangers is a Canadian registered charity focused on  environmental education and conservation. The goal of the organization is to educate children and their families about environmental issues and mobilize them to take actions that protect animals and the environment.

The presentation was like a fast-paced, jeopardy style game show where students were divided into two teams to answer questions, make eco-decisions and tackle environmental challenges. With audience participation, story telling and loads of surprises, the kids had a blast while learning key science concepts.

By the end of the show students were able to explain key topics such as: conservation, endangered species, ecosystems and adaptation. They were also able to identify human impacts like pollution and habitat loss. They were also able to understand how restoration, research and every day actions can help.
