Churchill High School celebrated World Autism Awareness Day
Churchill celebrated World Autism Day with a Light it Up Blue Campaign on April 2nd - April 5th. Blue lights were used to light up their windows and bleue art was aslo on display in the hallways, to help raise awareness of autism.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a Neurodeyelopmental disorder affecting 1 in 88 people. Autism is characterized by social impairments, communication difficulties and restrictive, repetiteve behaviours. Males are 4 times more likely to have ASD the females.
