Safe Grad 2026

Dear Grade 12 Students and Families,

Attention Grant Park Seniors — your Senior Quotes and Baby Photos are DUE APRIL 1, But the sooner the better to help our yearbook student Volunteers to be able to work on the yearbook. 

We are getting everything ready for graduation celebrations, and we don’t want anyone to miss out. Each graduating student is asked to submit:

• Their senior quote
 • One baby photo

How to Submit:
Students must complete the Google Form and upload their quote and photo directly through their Google Classroom.

πŸ’° 50/50 Fundraiser – Almost Done!

DRAW: March 6, 2026 at 5:00 PM (Tomorrow - 24 hours to purchase!!!)

Our 50/50 is coming to an end, and the pot is currently at $5030.00 — with the winner taking half!

If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, now is the time! Please share with friends and family and help us give it one final push before it closes.

πŸŽ‰ Seniors After Hours – March 13, 2026

This fun student-only event is happening March 13 — and it’s going to be a fantastic night for the grads!

Don’t forget to make sure your student has their ticket. We want everyone there to celebrate together!

Also on March 13, the Student Grad Committee will be selling pizza by the slice at lunch ($2.50/slice), so students can grab a slice and support the grads at the same time.

πŸ€ Varsity Boys vs. Winnipeg Police – April 17

Mark your calendars! On April 17, there will be a special event in the Senior Gym at lunch time — the Varsity Boys Basketball Team vs. the Winnipeg Police.

🎟 Admission is $2, and all proceeds will go directly to Grant Park Safe Grad 2026.

The Student Grad Committee will also be running a canteen outside the gym that day. Everyone is invited — come out, cheer loud, and support the grads!

Order forms will be going out this week, March 18 is the deadline with delivery on March 24, 2026.

New Bothwell / Archie’s Meat Fundraiser
 
Order forms will go out April 7, with April 16 as the deadline and delivery on April 24.

At the end of April, we will also be launching our Krispy Kreme Fundraiser.

πŸ• Boston Booster – April 13

Our Boston Booster is coming up on April 13, and we need your help to sell it out!

🎟 Tickets are $20 each, which includes:

  • Pizza
  • 10 raffle tickets

We are selling:

  • 100 tickets for the bar area (18+)
  • 100 tickets for the restaurant area

At the event, we will also be selling additional raffle tickets and auctioning off 4 Gorgeous Art Pieces as well as a huge silent auction that includes numerous other baskets.

Let’s make this an amazing, sold-out event!

Tickets can be purchased from Peter Notarianni in Room 81 or Catharine Beattie (text or call 204-510-2355).

If you have raffle prizes to donate, please get them to us as soon as possible. The cut-off date is March 25, 2026.


🍷 Wine Raffle Donations

We will also be putting together a wine raffle.

Do you have a bottle at home you’re not drinking? A gift card you aren’t using? We would love to include it!

Catharine Beattie and Jennifer Chiappetta will be collecting wine donations.


πŸ“… Looking Ahead

Grad ticket and package information will be coming out in May, so please continue watching your email and social media.

One of the most important things your student must have for graduation events is a Government-Issued ID. This will be very important, so please ensure your student has a valid ID ready.

March 13, 2026 : Senior After Hours Night : we need volunteers for 3 hour shifts : 4:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. (help set up and man the food and drink tables, run the games) and 7:30 p.m. -10:30 p.m. (food and games and clean up).

April 13, 2026 at 6:30 pm (maybe earlier to set up) : Boston Booster : volunteers to help set up, run auction table, etc. (more details to come)

June 22, 2026 : Night of Safe Grad -- parent volunteers will be needed for all sorts of things on this night -- more details to come.

We hope you, and your grad student, can help at one or two of these events.

You will NOT be alone in the volunteering as the Grad Committee will be at all the events! So come join the fun, we would love to have you with us.

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we’re excited to share a sweet opportunity to spread the love while supporting Grad 2026!

On February 12, 2026, our graduating class will be hosting a Valentine’s Bake Sale, and we are looking for families who are able to contribute baked goods. All treats will be sold for $3.00 each, so please ensure that each item is individually packaged.
