Assignment Catch Up (ACU)

Surprise Assignment Catch-Up is a program designed to help students who have incomplete assignments get caught up by providing  shortened scheduled periods, and an extra homeroom class to finish outstanding work. Teachers write a list of all their students who are owing work, and students on the list remain in their homeroom in smaller groups to work on assignments and get help from their teachers. Students who have completed all of their assignments are given time to participate in reward activities. These include time in the gym, music room, computer lab, or art activities.
