The Parent and Family Room

The Parent and Family Room at John M. King School is a welcoming, vibrant space where families connect, learn, and build community together. Throughout the year, families take part in enriching experiences such as family field trips, sewing workshops, board games, beading, baking sessions, and fun learning activities like Nutrition Bingo. Partnerships such as Second Harvest support families through access to food and resources, strengthening our sense of care and belonging.

Most importantly, the Family Room is a place to feel at home. Whether you are joining an activity or simply stopping by, families are always welcome to come on in, drop in for a coffee, and spend time connecting with others. This space truly reflects the heart of our school community.
