Szandra Temesvari

My name is Szandra Temesvari and I have been teaching at Kelvin High School since 2008. I have lived in Hungary, Austria, Canada and Australia. I moved to Canada with my family when I was 7 years old so English is my third language.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba. My major was Zoology with a specialty in cellular biology and had enough credits to minor in Classics though that remained undeclared. After graduation I lived abroad for a year, traveling through Southeast Asia and Australia. Upon returning home I began what would become a 14 year coaching career in competitive swimming. This made the decision to become a teacher an easy one. I received my Bachelor of Education degree in 2007.

I teach Biology in the IB programme and Chemistry in the regular English program.
