Wolf – Humility

From the wooded land came Grandfather Wolf to bring the teaching of Humility.

When the wolf sees a person, it will stop and bow its head, which is a reflection of the Wolf showing its humbleness to the presence of a human being. The Wolf teaches us that humility is being humble and not arrogant. Being humble means doing good things for other people. Being humble means remembering that everyone is special and that we are all equal. Humility is understanding that no one is greater or lesser than another human being.

The Wolf represents Humility because of its giving nature and devotion to protecting and working for the good of the Wolf family.  The wolf places the welfare of the pack above its own. After a hunt, it will not take any of the food until it can be shared with the pack.
