Message from Vice Principal Ms. Sacco

"Congratulations Hornets on your accomplishments this year. We are so proud of you and your perseverance despite circumstance (COVID). Be proud of yourself as for many of you this was your first High School experience. Grade 11, you rock, you showed true Hornet spirit and pride this year – good luck next year trying to keep the title, I think the 10’s will give you a run for your money!  I also want to thank you as I have had a great year with you and 8 amazing years at Tec-Voc learning with you, supporting you, cheering for you and of course having fun with you, this year’s fun in the field day was the best ever! It is bitter sweet that today I also say goodbye to the Hornet’s nest as I am moving on with the graduates to be the Principal of Kent Road Elementary School next year. It has been an honour and privilege to serve you and this community. I wish you all the best as you continue your journey.  Just a  couple of things to remember – find your passions and get involved, always try your best, school is your job, you get paid in credits - take the time, learn the lessons, stop trying to rush becoming an adult – its not all its cracked up to be. Smile, be kind to everyone Winnipeg is small, try to always find the positive, tomorrow isn’t promised so tell the people you care about how you feel, thank your teachers and always remember to think green, act gold and be a Hornet.
