Principal's Message

Dear Parents/Guardians/Students

Thank you for visiting the Virtual School Website. The Virtual School is an initiative of the Winnipeg School Division that offers high school educational opportunities to learners that choose an alternative form of in-school participation. This inclusive strategy provides a robust and comprehensive education that provides equitable access to high school students with diverse needs. We offer a supportive learning environment for all students seeking to complete their high school diploma. We have a clear mission of keeping students in school, increasing graduation rates and opening opportunities for post-secondary programs. Despite the fact that students attend classes remotely, we strive to create a school community with live interactions with teachers and the Guidance Counsellor.

We also welcome parents and students to consider enrolling in a course or two if you are currently enrolled in a Winnipeg School Division high school and need to add courses. Due to timetabling conflicts in your home school the Virtual School allows for on-line participation in courses. Your schools Guidance Counsellor can help you with this option.
