AMVC has 3 very active choirs that meet regularly 3 times a cycle on days 2, 4 and 6. They prepare for various occasions and outings such as Remembrance Service, Choralfest, Winter Concert, Winnipeg Music Competition Festival, Spring Concert, singing at the malls, Take Note etc… This past year, all three of our choirs were awarded three gold medals, the highest standing possible at the Winnipeg Music Competition Festival. Our amazing and talented grade 9 Choir was also awarded the Salisbury House trophy in 2013 for the most outstanding performance for grades 7-12 category in the city of Winnipeg. Students learn to sing fun and meaningful repertoire and pieces in three and four part harmony.
