The PE program at Grosvenor School provides all children the opportunity to explore movement, take risks, have fun, experience success and interact in a dynamic setting.
The activities offered in Grades 1-3 assist the students in developing all basic motor skills which include transport, manipulation and dynamic and static balances.
The students in Grades 4-6 are offered a balance of large and small group activities with cooperation, choices, and ‘fair play’ promoted and practiced in every class. Focus is placed on sports, rhythm, dance and cooperative games, as well as the development of cardio vascular endurance, muscular endurance and flexibility. There is a focus on lifetime sports pursuits to encourage and enhance their continued level of participation and enjoyment of movement.
Intramurals are offered for students in Grades 1 – 6. There are inter-school activities offered for students in Grades 4 – 6.
