WSD students, staff and school community members are welcome to join the WSD Inclusion Across the Rainbow group at the annual Pride March on Sunday, June 2, 2024 by Pride Winnipeg.
Together, we will march in a celebration of diversity and inclusion.
June 2, 2024
Rally begins at 10:00 am at the Manitoba Legislative Building steps
The parade runs from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, starting at Memorial Park, ending near The Forks
WSD will have our own spot in the parade this year!
- Look for the WSD Joy, Love, Rigour signs and WSD staff at the base of the Legislature steps on the North-West side for the rally
- At the end of the rally, follow WSD volunteers to Memorial Park and look for the “WSD Inclusion Across The Rainbow” banner
- Bring a pre-filled water bottle (water station available at the start of the route), sunscreen, and weather appropriate clothing
