We Day

We Day is the movement of our time, empowering a generation of young global citizens through an inspirational event and a year-long educational initiative called We Act, which offers curricular resources, campaigns and materials to help turn the day’s inspiration into sustained activation.
We Act is the blueprint for young people to take action as agents of social change.
This is the third year Kelvin has been invited to attend the Oct. 29th event at the MTC Centre. We took 20 students (all female) this year who have already started their fundraising efforts within the school.
Over 16,000 students and teachers attended the event. Schools came from all over the province. There were performances by Karl Wolf, Hedley and Kardinal Offical.
You can't buy tickets to We Day, you have to earn them through volunteer work and fundraising!
The WE Day committee held a bake sale Nov 19th at lunch, raising $158.70. These funds will be used to purchase goats to help families become financially stable in developing countries.
