Titans of Trivia triumph again in Zoomers versus Boomers / Students versus Politicos match

Kelvin's Reach for the Top teams (Intermediate and Senior) battled wits with some of Winnipeg's elected politicians and emerged victorious recently.  In what has become an annual tradition, students in grades 9 through 12 displayed the intellectual speed and accuracy needed to best local Members of the Legislative and City Councillors in a friendly match which took place before an enthusiastic crowd in the Library.  Public servants who accepted Kelvin's challenge included St. Vital municipal councillor Brian Mayes, Chief of Staff to Mayor Brian Bowman, Jason Fuith (parent of Reach Intermediate player Aedan), along with City Councillor for Fort Rouge/East Fort Garry Sherri Rollins (parent of Kelvin IB student  Grace) and Member of the Manitoba Legislative Assembly Mark Wasyliw (parent of Kelvin Immersion française student Nicholas).  Many thanks to Councillor Mayes and Coach John Martens who organized the event and to players Gabriel Y, Liam S., Max H., Russel I, Ana A., NIck C. Kenna N., and Anna H. who maintained Kelvin's five year winning streak against our esteemed public servants,  and to Monsieur Sokalski, Quiz-Master.
