Both the girls’ and boys’ competitive curling teams won their divisional title and proudly represented our school at Provincials, February 25th-27th in Gladstone and Plumas.
This year marked the girls’ fourth consecutive appearance at Provincials and they proved tough competition to their opponents with three very close games.
The boys dominated in most of their six games, making it to the quarter finals. They had a heart-breaking loss by one point to Rivers, MB and finished fourth in the Province, ahead of every other city team.
Both teams should be proud of their successes this season. A huge congratulations to all 8 graduating players on these 2 teams, five of whom have played since grade 9. Your enthusiasm for the game and team camaraderie will be missed!
