Colonial Canada Games

Students of Grade 11 Histoire canadienne took part in the Fifth Annual "Colonial Canada Games".  Their challenge:  to create a question-and-answer based game show or board game testing players' knowledge of a period extending from 1534 to Confederation (1867).  Games ranged from entire-class sessions of "Roue de la Fortune" to modified versions of "Settlers of Canada" and "Snakes & Ladders" featuring blow tubes and Pie throwing!  Next:  major essays on 20th Century Canadian historical events and figures...
