Cupcake Wars 2014

Food fight – what every Foods and Nutrition teacher dreads to hear. Except in this case, there were cheers! A cross-curricular project with Ms. Katrina Paquin’s Grade 12 Foods, Ms. Marilyn Howden’s Grade 11 Foods, and Mr. Randy Engel’s Woods classes resulted in Kelvin’s Second Annual Cupcake Wars. It was a huge success. The kids had a great time, the judges enjoyed their treats and the students all came out to support their peers. It was very competitive, but in the end the Super Mario Bros. won first place, Super Smash Bros. took second place, and Frozen won third place.
