Asia Pacific Food and Etiquette Project

Grade 9 students enrolled in Kelvin's Asia Pacific program embarked on a cook's tour of Asia in room 35 recently. On the menu was found not only salads from Cyprus to Laos, hot dishes from Israel to India, but also a cornucopia of information about social etiquette, social taboos and traditions associated with the foods and cultures of over a dozen Asian nations.  Students chose a country with which they had had no previous experience, learned about it and prepared a meal from the country.  The results were filling for both body and mind!  Congratulations to all the Asia Pacific scholars involved!
