Primary (Gr 1-3)

This fall Room 26 and 27  studied sunflowers, leaves and pumpkins.  We observed plants in different forms, and identified the needs of living things.  Mr. Backe brought in an extremely tall sunflower. We couldn't even reach the top!  We wrote poems about sunflowers, tasted salty sunflower seeds and counted the striped seeds in math.  We made beautiful crayon resist sunflower paintings inspired by the work of the artist Vincent Van Gogh.  We hope you enjoy looking at our bright, yellow, sunny creations!
