Our Program
The Hebrew Program at Brock Corydon is the only public-school Hebrew Heritage Language program of its kind in North America. Through a partial immersion model, students learn Hebrew alongside cultural knowledge and core subject areas taught in both Hebrew and English.
Our Mission
The Hebrew program at Brock Corydon inspires students to develop meaningful connections to Hebrew language, Jewish culture, identity, peoplehood, Israel, and community within a pluralistic and inclusive learning environment.
Through engaging and authentic learning experiences, students develop confidence in who they are, communicate meaningfully with others, think critically and creatively about the world around them, collaborate in community, and act as compassionate and responsible citizens through acts of תיקון עולם (tikkun olam; repairing the world, social justice). We nurture learners who are prepared to contribute positively to both Jewish life and the broader world.
Our Vision
We envision graduates who are confident in their identity, connected to their heritage and community, and empowered to participate meaningfully in Jewish life and an interconnected world.
Grounded in a strong sense of peoplehood and belonging, our students develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to communicate effectively, think critically and creatively, collaborate with others, and engage responsibly with diverse perspectives.
Through their learning, students cultivate a sense of hope, meaning, and purpose. They understand who they are, where they come from, where they are going, and how they can contribute to a more compassionate, equitable, and sustainable future.
Our graduates leave Brock Corydon confidently prepared to navigate a complex and changing world while remaining connected to their language, community, values, and responsibility to others.
