Authentic Assessment
May 4, 2026
Learning Exhibitions:
Students will have four scheduled opportunities to share their learning in Exhibitions. Mini-exhibitions are scheduled in November and April, while full-scale Learning Exhibitions are scheduled in January and June. Students are expected to present as scheduled to an audience of their choice. Portfolios will guide students’ choices in preparing for exhibitions. Exhibitions can focus on projects that are completed, projects in process, internship opportunities, learning they are participating in outside of school, and any other activities or learning they would like to include.
Portfolios:
With advisor support, students will maintain a working portfolio where they store, reflect on, and improve items until they are in a state of completion and ready for assessment by multiple adults.
