Grade 7/8 Shops
February 27, 2026

At David Livingstone School, our junior high students participate in a shop rotation once every cycle, exploring electronics, graphics, woodworking, home economics, and metal shops.
These hands-on experiences help students develop practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving, while building confidence and teamwork. From designing and building projects to cooking and crafting, students gain valuable skills they can use both in school and in everyday life.
This program gives students a taste of different trades and life skills, helping them discover their interests and prepare for future learning and careers.
