Every September, students and staff at David Livingstone School proudly take part in the Terry Fox Run. This annual event is an important tradition in our school community and across Canada.

The run honours Terry Fox, who began his Marathon of Hope in 1980 to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. Terry’s determination, courage, and belief that one person can make a difference continue to inspire generations of Canadians.

At David Livingstone School, we celebrate the Terry Fox Run as a time to come together in the spirit of hope, perseverance, and compassion. Students learn about Terry’s story and reflect on the importance of helping others, setting goals, and never giving up, even when faced with challenges.

Our annual run is more than just a physical activity; it is an opportunity to build empathy, community pride, and a sense of collective responsibility. We are proud to carry on this meaningful September tradition each year.
