About Our School

Located in close proximity to the city's historic Forks area, Fort Rouge School is an elementary school (Nursery to Grade 6) with population of approximately 150 students. We offer a variety of programming including:

• Half Day Nursery and Kindergarten program
• Grades 1 to 6 combined classrooms 

We also provide Physical Education, Integrated Arts, Special Education Resource, Reading Recovery and Literacy and Numeracy Support.  The school also provide space for the Maybrook Children's Centre which offers before school, lunch, and after school daycare to children aged 6-12 years.

In addition to a regular instructional program the school also offers:
