At École Garden Grove School, we are fortunate to have an exceptional team of educators who are deeply committed to nurturing both the minds and spirits of our students. On a recent planning day, our teachers came together for a productive and inspiring day that was not only about school planning, but also about reaffirming our shared beliefs about teaching and learning.

A key part of the day was dedicated to reflecting on and reinforcing our school’s core beliefs about learning. École Garden Grove School teachers took time to dive into the principles that guide our work with students every day. These beliefs emphasize the importance of fostering a positive, supportive, and challenging environment where every student has the opportunity to grow and succeed.
 
In keeping with these beliefs, each teacher wrote personalized messages to their students on the front windows of the school, messages that highlight their commitment to each child's potential and learning journey. What made these notes even more special was the teachers' use of a phrase that resonates deeply within our community: “We Believe!”

This empowering slogan has become a rallying cry in Winnipeg, symbolizing hope, unity, and determination. Our teachers adopted it as a reminder of the trust they place in their students and their belief in the power of education to unlock a bright future. A Nod to Our Winnipeg Jets
 
Our teachers also found a creative way to incorporate a bit of hometown spirit into their messages. As the NHL's Winnipeg Jets continue their quest for the Stanley Cup, Garden Grove teachers shared a nod to the team’s dedication and perseverance. Just as the Jets strive for excellence on the ice, our educators encourage students to aim high, never give up, and always give their best effort, whether in the classroom or in life.
