LNS New Playspace!

Schools are the heart of our communities!  Our goal was to make all families feel welcome and part of our community so that they can come and play, and build stronger relationships with one another. Our fun, interactive and engaging play spaces are a meeting place where parents and caregivers can talk with their children as they move freely and develop their gross, fine motor and musical skills.

On behalf of our students, staff and families we want to thank our Parent Advisory Council for their efforts in fundraising and the following contributors who helped us reach our $140,000 goal:

• City of Winnipeg – Community Incentive Grant Program $15,000 
• City of Winnipeg – Land Dedication Reserve Fund  $38,000
• The Winnipeg Foundation $25,000
• Winnipeg School Division Universal Building Fund $20,000
• Winnipeg School Division – Children’s Heritage Fund $20,000
• Lord Nelson PAC $22,000
