Drum and Dance

The Lord Nelson Aboriginal Drumming and Dance Celebration was held on Monday, June 10, 2013. Led by our drumming teachers, Ko’ona and Hilda, the Lord Nelson Drummers shared three songs they have learned this spring. The songs are: Aaniin Boozhoo, Ojibwe Lullabye and The Water Song
Later, four young and talented guest Powwow dancers from Champlain School shared an Aboriginal Dance demonstration, with students and staff from our school joining in.
