Adaptive Skills Program

Norquay school is a fully inclusive school, a philosophy that is evident through our Adaptive Skills Program. This is a Special Education program that focuses on the individual needs of each student involved. These students are integrated into classrooms that match their grade level. Content is modified to meet the needs of the student while he/she gains social skills among peers within the classroom.

Within this program, students take part in other activities such as music therapy, swimming, and baking that serve to further meet their individual needs.
