A Message from the Principal

Dear Queenston School Families, 

Welcome to Queenston School, proudly known as "The Small School with a Big Heart." At Queenston, we strive to create a warm, welcoming and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, supported and inspired to learn. Guided by the Winnipeg School Division's strategic priorities of Joy, Love and Rigour, we work to ensure that all students experience a strong sense of belonging and success. 

Our students learn through rich experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity and innovation. STEAM projects, the arts, athletics, outdoor learning and Indigenous education allow our students to grow and learn while making meaningful connections, developing their interests, and deepening their leadership skills. We are proud of the many ways our students demonstrate kindness, resilience, and a commitment to lifelong learning. 

Queenston's strength lies in the partnerships we share with families, staff, volunteers and our Queenston School Advisory Council (QSAC). Together, we foster a vibrant school community where every child is known, cared for, and encouraged to thrive. We look forward to working with you throughout the 2026-2027 school year as we continue in the caring spirit that makes Queenston such a special place to learn and grow.
