Breakfast Program

Breakfast is a very important meal.  Students need to have breakfast each day so they have the fuel they need to be able to learn.

The Breakfast Program is open from 8:30-9:00 AM each morning. It is at no cost to all Wellington School students.  Students who attend the breakfast program are provided with a nutritious breakfast each morning.

Breakfast for Learning Program

Each week students in grade 1-4 received a snack from the Breakfast for Learning Program. The snack is prepared by a group of grade 5/6 students. They plan the menu, prepare the snack and deliver it to every classroom. This program is funded by the Child Nutrition Council. It provides a nutritious snack for our younger students and a leadership opportunity for our students.

Lunch Program

The Wellington School Lunch Program offers supervised lunch time to children who attend Wellington School and whose parents are working or attending school during the lunch hour.

The Program is intended to ensure the safety and well-being of the students registered with the lunch program.  Children will be provided with lunch supervision and milk.

A microwave is available and all food items/containers must be labeled clearly.  Items without the child's name will not be heated.
