RB Russell Partnership

Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, Children of the Earth students will have the opportunity to sign up for grade 9-10 vocational classes and grade 9-12 music classes offered at RB Russell High School. 

RB Russell students also have the opportunity to come to Children of the Earth High School  to enrol in academic and language credits not offered by their home school.

Getting to and from RB Russell:

A slot classes: students will go directly to RB Russell from home in the morning. After class, staff from RB Russell will see them safely across Salter Street and back towards Children of the Earth

D and E slot classes: students meet in the front of the school and walk over as a group. They are accompanied by an EA whenever possible. Staff from RB Russell will see D slot students safely across Salter Street at the end of the class; students with E slot classes will be dismissed from RB Russell at the end of the day.

Vocational Courses Available:

Grade 9:  Culinary, Horticulture, Welding, Carpentry, Childcare, Graphic Arts (E slot classes, 2:30-3:30)

Grade 10: Carpentry, Graphic Arts, Hair styling, Childcare (A slot classes - 9-10)

Guitar/Piano (D slot, 1:10-2:15)
