Dagwaagin Pow Wow — September 24, 2026

We invite students and staff to join us for a day of learning. Explore Indigenous knowledge, teachings, and traditions through engaging learning experiences designed for students in Grades 1 to 8.

Site Location:
Naawi-Oodena
Field at the corner of Kenaston Boulevard & Grant Avenue

Order of the Day:
10:00 a.m. — Grand Entry
11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. — Learning Sessions
1:30 p.m. — Pow Wow Closing Ceremonies

Additional Information:

• Community members are warmly welcome to attend and dance.
• WSD Pow Wow Circles are encouraged to participate.
• Invited drums only, thank you.
• Registered dancers will receive an honourarium.
• Students may register on-site to receive a dancer honorarium but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 
• Community vendors are not permitted.
• The Pow Wow will commence rain or shine. Please dress accordingly.
