Elmwood offers grade's 7 to 12, Gr. 9 Jazz and Sr. Jazz Band. We have also established our EHS Hit Squad Drumline in 2018. Course's involve developing technical skills on a wind or percussion instrument through private practice and small and large group rehearsals. Our students develop an understanding of different musical styles and a knowledge of theory appropriate to their grade level.
The Sr. Band was awarded a 5 star Superior Achievement Award with an invite to Musicfest Canada in Spring of 2019, for the third time in a row.
