The Spirit of Hugh John Macdonald

Hugh Macdonald students are hopeful, caring, connected citizens who imagine a more peaceful, equal and healthy community and world.

Big enough to learn and teach, small enough to care.

As a community school, we have reached out and partnered with a wide spectrum of community partners to enrich the learning of our students. An example of this partnership is our work with the Manitoba School Improvement Program in offering the Peaceful Village, which extends the school day for all interested students from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. every day of the week.
