Terry Fox Marathon of Hope Month – September

Every September, schools and communities across Canada take part in a Terry Fox Run, marking the month when Terry Fox had to end his Marathon of Hope due to his battle with cancer. The run has grown into a national tradition, honouring Terry’s legacy and supporting the Terry Fox Foundation in raising funds for cancer research.

Winnipeg School Divisions encourages all schools to schedule a Terry Fox Run for their school community in September.
