Volunteers

Volunteers provide support with field trips, classroom activities, fund raisers, Parent Council, special events, and assistance with individual students.  Volunteers are asked to sign in and out in the office and wear a volunteer badge while helping at the school.  The volunteer program is coordinated by the Guidance Counsellor who recruits volunteers each fall and invites them to attend and orientation with the Winnipeg School Division volunteer coordinator, as per our school division’s policy.  A volunteer reception is hosted in the spring to honour our volunteers in appreciation for all their support and hard work.  We welcome all parents and community members to join in our volunteer program and be a partner in learning with your child at the school.​
