Tec-Voc Dental Technology becomes part of The Canadian Alliance of Dental Technology Regulators

The Dental Technology program at The Technical Vocational High School has become part of The Canadian Alliance of Dental Technology Regulators, the national federation of dental technology regulators in Canada. 

We stand alongside all the colleges across Canada within CADTR and are proud to represent Manitoba, The Technical Vocational High School, and the Winnipeg School Division in this historic time. 

It was a two-year process to create baseline competencies that reflect the profession of dental technology. The dental technology program and Tec-Voc are immensely proud of this accomplishment that offers our Manitoba students greater mobility across Canada.

The growth of the program and the technologies that are infused with the curriculum offer the students college-level education. Tec-Voc is the only vocational high school in Canada to do so.

Graduates of the program have become laboratory owners, dental technologists, doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, and the list keeps growing.
