World Food Day, Soup Fundraiser! October 16, 2023

On Monday, October 16, 2023 the Tec-Voc Culinary Arts Department and the Tec-Voc Fair Trade & Sustainability Committee presents “World Food Day - Soup Fundraiser”. Each year on World Food Day the Tec-Voc Café only sells soups (with fresh breads) to raise awareness of global hunger and food security issues both locally and abroad.
This year you can purchase Three Sisters, Turkey Wild Rice and Potato Leak soups for $2.00 a bowl or $5.00 per litre. The fundraiser will take place in the Tec-Voc Cafeteria from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Nutrition Council of Manitoba, in recognition of their significant support for our community through student food programs.
