The Tec-Voc Fair Trade & Sustainability Committee, in collaboration with Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, and Business Management, is thrilled to invite staff, students and divisional guests to our upcoming event, "Thirsty 4 Fair," on Thursday, November 30.

As a designated Fair Trade School since 2018, Tec-Voc High School remains committed to promoting Fair Trade products in our cafeteria, bakery and Stingers Store. To celebrate this designation and to also strengthen our ties to local producers, we have planned the following activities for November 30: 

• Fair Trade Coffee Loyalty Program Launch: Buy 5 coffees, get the 6th one free. 
• Morning (8:15 to 9:00): Enjoy free samples of Fair Trade smoothies and mini banana muffins. 
• Lunch Session (11:45 to 1:00): Indulge in free samples of Fair Trade coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, along with a Fair Trade & local producers themed lunch. 

This event promotes awareness to staff and students about the importance of Fair Trade and the support of local producers aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals:  Zero Hunger (Goal 2), Decent Work and Economic Growth (Goal 8), and Responsible Consumption and Production (Goal 12). 

We look forward to your participation in "Thirsty 4 Fair" to strengthen our community of practice in promoting sustainability and responsible consumer choices.
